Electronics export is a paperwork business as much as a freight business. CYNRIN ships smart glasses under EXW, FOB Shenzhen, CIF or DDP terms by sea, air or express, with lithium-battery dossiers, export documents and Amazon FBA prep handled before the carton leaves the warehouse.

Finished goods pass final AQL inspection in our factory, move through export packing and documentation, and are booked with the carrier under the Incoterm on your proforma. You can use our forwarder, your nominated forwarder, or a split arrangement — your cargo, your choice; the documents and compliance obligations never change.
Production lead time and freight lead time are separate: factory production runs 15–40 days depending on program tier, as detailed on the lead times page, and the transit bands below start only after goods are packed, documented and released against the agreed payment terms.
Obligations split at defined points. The table states the practical allocation brands actually care about — export clearance, main carriage, insurance and import clearance.
| Obligation | EXW (Ex Works) | FOB Shenzhen | CIF (named port) | DDP (named place) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Export packing & documents | Seller | Seller | Seller | Seller |
| China export clearance | Buyer (via forwarder) | Seller | Seller | Seller |
| Inland haulage to Yantian/Shekou | Buyer | Seller | Seller | Seller |
| Main ocean/air carriage | Buyer | Buyer | Seller (prepaid) | Seller (prepaid) |
| Freight insurance | Buyer | Buyer | Seller (minimum cover) | Seller |
| Destination port charges | Buyer | Buyer | Buyer | Seller |
| Import clearance, duty & VAT | Buyer | Buyer | Buyer | Seller |
| Typical fit | Experienced importer, own forwarder | Most common standard for B2B programs | Buyer wants prepaid ocean freight | Hands-off landed delivery incl. FBA |
Terms are confirmed on each proforma invoice. DDP is quoted destination-specific and requires importer-of-record arrangements to be agreed in writing.
The smart economy is rarely one mode: launch quantities fly, the base volume sails, and replenishment uses whichever lane still fits the stock-out date.
Transit ranges exclude customs inspections, which destination authorities may add without notice. We book with named sailing or flight details and share the bill of lading or air waybill as soon as it issues, so your receiving team plans against real dates instead of estimates.

Smart glasses ship with lithium-polymer cells installed in equipment. The cells used in our platforms come with UN38.3 test summaries (the UN standard transport tests), MSDS safety data sheets and, where the carrier requires, a suitable-packing declaration. Cargo moves under the applicable IATA/IMDG lithium-battery packing instructions.
In everyday terms: batteries packed with or in equipment are handled under the PI966 (with equipment) / PI967 (contained in equipment) family of instructions, with watt-hour limits, state-of-charge limits (typically not charged above 30% for certain cargo modes), UN-marked packaging and the lithium-battery mark and label on the carton. Our logistics team selects the correct provision per lane — passenger-aircraft restrictions and all-cargo rules differ, and sea shipments follow the IMDG Code rather than IATA.
If your nominated forwarder requests additional paperwork — for example a carrier-specific battery declaration or a pre-audit — we supply it in English within one to two working days.
A complete document set prevents the two costly warehouse moments: a container stuck at customs, or an FBA appointment refused on arrival.
Unit price, currency (USD), harmonized code, country of origin and Incoterm — issued in your legal entity name for customs valuation.
Carton count, net and gross weights, carton dimensions, CBM and unit quantities per SKU/color, matched exactly to the invoice.
General CO available on request; preferential certificates (for example GSP/form types where applicable) assessed per destination before shipment.
Ocean B/L (telex release or original set) for sea freight, air waybill for air freight — released per the payment milestone.
UN38.3 test summary, MSDS and the packing/declaration paperwork matching the actual cells and packing instruction.
CE/FCC/RoHS/REACH declarations and test reports in your brand name, plus product manuals for the destination market.
FBA and major-retail DCs enforce labeling and carton rules mechanically — shipments fail on paperwork, not product. We prep against the current seller-central requirements you provide for each shipment.

FNSKU labels applied per unit, shipment-ID carton labels placed clear of seams, carton weight and dimensions within FBA limits, and "team lift"/"mechanical lift" labels where required.

Heat-treated pallets where the destination requires, standard heights for container loading, stretch wrap and packing photographs shared before booking the delivery appointment.

Units in sealed retail polybags where required, with warning suffocation text sized per market; bundling and multi-pack configurations handled against your ASIN setup.
Goods normally exit via Yantian International Container Terminals, the deep-water port serving eastern Shenzhen and the PRD manufacturing belt, or Shekou to the west — the choice follows your carrier’s sailing and destination port. Air cargo moves through Shenzhen Bao’an or, for denser flight schedules, Hong Kong or Guangzhou Baiyun; couriers collect directly from our warehouse.
Inland haulage, port entry and terminal handling sit inside FOB Shenzhen pricing. Drayage windows are booked against production completion so goods do not wait in a port warehouse accruing storage.
Risk transfers at the point each Incoterm defines — on delivery to the first carrier under FOB, alongside the seller’s minimum cover under CIF, and at your named destination only under DDP. Because minimum CIF cover is capped, most brand customers take out their own all-risk cargo policy for the full commercial invoice value plus freight; we declare values accurately so claims are not underinsured.
Report any carton or pallet damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt at handover — photographic, timestamped evidence at receiving is the basis for every valid freight claim, and our packing photographs document the condition at origin.

The same PM who ran production owns the shipment handover, so logistics questions reach someone who knows the carton contents personally.
